The spiritual sequel of Robin Williams' 1995 movie "Jumanji" is scheduled to be released this Christmas, and fans have been waiting for a trailer. It is not available yet, but star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson shared when the awaited new "Jumanji" trailer will be released.

The upcoming movie will also serve as a tribute to Williams. "Jumanji 2" also stars Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and Nick Jonas. The Rock has recently shared a picture showing him in a table with a lot of people working to make the movie "awesome," Digital Spy said.

In his Instagram post, The Rock said that they just previewed the exclusive trailer, and he let slip the release date. He said that the exclusive will be shown to the CinemaCon crowd, including theater CEO's, exhibitors and press, adding that "it kills." The Rock also added that the movie is going to be "hilarious, massive action and a lot of big ol' heart."

CinemaCon will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from March 27 to March 30, ComicBook said.  The event is a standalone movie theater industry trade show. It is the perfect setting for the release of the "Jumanji 2" trailer because it attracts attendees from over 80 countries.

In the new movie, four teenagers find themselves in the "Jumanji" world, and they will face rhinos, black mambas and an endless variety of jungle traps and puzzles. They would have to play as the characters from the game, if they want to get out of there alive.

The new "Jumanji" movie is directed by Jake Kasdan, and the script is written by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The story is based on the adventure book with the same title. The 1995 adaptation was a box office hit, grossing more than $260 million.
