"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was just released worldwide on March 3, 2017, and it has been developed by Nintendo EPD. The game was also published by Nintendo and was directed by Hidemaro Fujibayashi. The game is playable via Nintendo Switch and Wii U.

As per Tech Mic, they have reported that this version of "The Legend of Zelda" might have an even bigger map to explore compared to games such as "Skyrim" and "Witcher 3." The freshly released game has been described to be an open-world and puts the players the ability to choose adventures freely on their own. Some ventures may require you to walk, run, jump, glide, swim, ride, and even climb at some point.

Truly, this is an exciting gaming experience for players who are fond of playing open-world games. In case you are wondering, how big the map of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is, the answer might surprise you. Some players who have already played the game describes the map to be gargantuan in size, and a Reddit user named noob10 made some calculations.

Noob10 stated that presumably 90 percent of the map is traversable and the travel time it takes to jog a mile is roughly 10 minutes. That being said noob10 also noted that it takes approximately 28 minutes to jog north to south and 33 minutes from east to west. The user has estimated that it will be at least 8.3 square miles (5,300 acres), which has been calculated to be smaller than Manhattan.

According to Game Spot, one of best things players should try is to find the Great Fairy Fountain Locations. For players to be able to upgrade their armor in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," one must awaken the four Great Fairies from their slumber and they are spread around the map of the game. This is a difficult task to partake but in case you need some details about the locations, it has been exposed in the same report and it might lessen the thrill of the challenge.
