"Samsung Galaxy Note 8" is making a comeback in 2017. Here is what you need to know about South Korean's new offering including specs, features, and release date to name a few.

It can be recalled that "Samsung Galaxy Note 7" was previously recalled and discontinued. After the storm, Samsung is here standing proud, confirming the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The news was confirmed as CNET reported that the South Korean tech giant's Mobile Chief assures to bring back a better, very innovative and much safer Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

The recent reports on the Internet have soon come up with loads of speculations and theories. Among these is that the upcoming "Samsung Galaxy Note 8" will have a moniker, "Great." The codename is definitely a measured choice since its predecessor has earned a bad name for battery issues.

It seems that Samsung has learned from their previous mistake and has fixed their device's issues with the battery. Samsung laid out an eight-point battery check and implemented a team of advisers to address the previous problems the "Samsung Galaxy Note 7" has faced. This was revealed in the company's report, which outlined the cause of the battery problems.

Koh's confirmation is the only official information from the company that we have so far. The company has not yet revealed anything more than that. The delay on the launch and release of "Samsung Galaxy Note 8" was mainly caused by the "Note 7" brouhaha. According to MIC, the new flagship's launch is scheduled for March 29 and not on the customary debut at the Mobile World Congress trade show, which will be held in Barcelona this year.

Meanwhile, in one of its articles, Mirror noted that the upcoming "Samsung Galaxy Note 8" might possibly feature a 4K display. The company first showed a prototype of the device with a 4K display last May 2016 at the SID Display Week conference. If the speculation about the 4K display is true, the device could work well with VR.
