The highly anticipated "Red Dead Redemption 2" is said to be released on PC this fall of 2017and will have a Backward Compatibility feature. Here is what fans must anticipate after the "GTA 5 Online" most recent update.

Just recently, Rockstar Games rolled out to "GTA 5 Online" its latest update, which brought massive changes and exciting new features to the game. This latest move from the company sparked an online campaign for "Red Dead Redemption 2" as well. Fans are requesting for a PC release of the much-awaited game.

An appeal on Change.org about "Red Dead Redemption 2's" PC release has accumulated more than 50,000+ signatures as of March 5. Several fans are anticipating that this request would eventually lead to the confirmation of its PC version's development. It is speculated among "RDR2" fans that the team would also make the game available on as many platforms as possible.

In its most recent report, Express UK itemized the numerous different possibilities in connection with "Red Dead Redemption 2's" PC release. One interesting theory is that the PC port for "GTA 5" was released two years after its initial PS3 and Xbox launch. The same pattern might apply for the game's PC release. With the sequel coming out this 2017, then a two more year will mean that its PC version will roll-out on 2019.

There are also heavy talks about the game having a backwards compatibility feature. Previously, Eurogamer reported that the game's original version was Rockstar's most requested title to get the said treatment. At present, several Rockstar titles have already received the backwards compatibility feature including "Bloodforge," "Gripshift," "Go! Go! Break Steady," and "Mars: War Logs."

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is slated to be released in Fall 2017. The game is the second installment of Rockstar Games.
