Fans of "My Hero Academia" in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Ireland will now have a chance to stream season 2 of the series through FunimationNow. The episode where season 1 of the hit anime series will be recapped is also possible to be available for streaming.

According to a report from IGN, Funimation has acquired the rights for season 2 of the hit anime series and they will air the first six episodes simultaneously with the same broadcast in Japan. The series will be available in either English dub or Japanese audio with English subtitles on FunimationNow.

The report said that the streaming of the anime series in Funimation will begin on April 1, 2017. But Anime News Network just reported that the company is working on providing the fans the recap episode, which will premiere in Japan on March 25, as soon as possible.

This is not the first time that Funimation will be streaming the "My Hero Academia" anime, as the report say they also streamed season 1 with Japanese audio and English subtitles. A broadcast dub was also streamed, but it premiered a month later.

IGN said that "My Hero Academia" Season 2 continues the story of Izuku "Deku" Midoriya, but this time he will be facing off with his classmates in the U.A. Sports Festival. This will be based on the U.A. Sports Festival arc Kohei Hiroshiko's " original manga series.

ANN said that Kenji Nagasaki will return to direct season 2, along with Yoshihiko Umakoshi, for the character design, and Yousuke Kuroda for the script of the anime series. Also returning are Yuuki Hayashi for the music of the series and the main casts from season 1.
