"Counting On" ratings are observed to be dropping this season. The reality show has been consistently maintaining an up-and-down trend in its ratings since it aired. It was the replacement to the canceled Duggar family show "19 Kids and Counting."

Every time there is a family event like wedding, engagement, or the coming of another baby, the ratings just go up. Then ratings slump down during the normal course of the lives of the Duggars.

This season Jinger Duggar and her wedding was the focus. The wedding ceremony was already aired during the previous season's finale. The wedding made the ratings zoom up according to The Hollywood Gossip.

The pre-wedding happenings are being featured to give the fans a chance to see. The show's promo promised Joy-Anna Duggar's courtship with Austin Forsyth but until the last episode, it was not aired according to Blasting News. Fans are worrying if the show might get canceled by TLC.

Recently, the network has been observing a drop in the ratings and fans assume that the focus on Jinger Duggar does not interest the fans at all. The courtship could have made the show exciting, but it was not delivered as promised.

Jinger Duggar has been out of the show for three months following her wedding to Jeremy Vuolo. The couple decided to make Texas as their home. The Duggar daughter was reportedly adjusting fast in her new environment. The new wife is quite private unlike her two sisters who share every detail of their lives. This might have caused the show to be less interesting.

Hopefully, "Counting On" ratings climb up again around July this year as Jill Duggar prepares to deliver her second son. The couple will reportedly go back to their mission work but will go home before her delivery date.
