It has been official and confirmed recently that "Hawaii Five-O" and "MacGyver" will have a cross over stage on March 10. These two were both CBS dramas and certain episodes will be connected from one another. There will be "MacGyver" episodes which will feature some of the "Hawaii Five-O" stars like Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, and Taylor Wiley.

The production of the episodes which had their shoot both at Oahu and Atlanta leaked the first evidence when "MacGyver" star Lucas Till shared a photo on his Twitter account. Further, CBS also added that there is something in store for these series.

Mac will be seen together with his team traveling on an island of Hawaii in order to aid an earthquake-relief effort. Mac and his team together with the Five-O task force will rescue a group of government scientists who were trapped in a building as it had collapsed during the earthquake, Entertainment Weekly reported.

This crossover had been so foreseeable since the day "MacGyver" started airing. It was confirmed by the executive producer Peter Lenkov on both "MacGyver" and "Hawaii Five-O" series. As explained, they always had envisioned that these teams lived in the same universe and it was about time for Mac and Jack to finally have a case in Hawaii.

The idea for crossing over between these two CBS dramas has already been brewing for a while. Definitely, fans could have their better reasons to rejoice at the implications of the crossover. It had turned out that both shows had exist in the same location. Thus, many speculated that it could further raise the chances of another crossover, Gosh TV reported.

The title of the upcoming crossover episode will be "Flashlight". The team will have to face a dangerous task and it will become even harder as the threat for the group intends to steal top-secret weapons on the same building. Meanwhile, CBS has yet to announce the renewal of each series; season 8 and season 2 respectively.
