"The Walking Dead" Season 7 returns on February 12, and it's going to be a bloodshed. Rick Grimes seems to be ready to be the leader again, but it is also said that his penchant for making bad decisions may cause two lead characters to die.

Glenn and Abraham faced brutal deaths. Will the upcoming episode feature the show's heroes in a mutiny? According to Entertainment Weekly, the return of Season 7 causes some apprehension, and that not everybody may survive the war. When asked about his take on Rick's new mission, Andrew Lincoln said: "Everybody knows that when war is called, there's going to be bloodshed."

Showrunner Scott M. Gimple told The Hollywood Reporter that the next eight episodes are going to be a direct response to the horrors that the heroes have gone through. He said that Season 7B is going to be very different from the last half-season. When asked what's going to be the most surprising about the second half, Gimple said: Eugene (Josh McDermitt) has a surprising arc and a lot of left turns.

Gimple added though, that for "The Walking Dead", fans should genuinely always worry for all of the characters. It has been previously reported that Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) may have to be killed off because she might get too busy in filming the "Star Trek: Discovery" series. Gimple said that with or without side gigs, people should still need to worry about the main casts.

Meanwhile, Chandler Riggs who plays Rick's son Carl, is also rumored to leave the show to embark on a college education. Gimple said that college is easier than high school, and that he is confident that college will be more flexible. He also added that Riggs will just be close by, just within two hours from the set. "The Walking Dead" airs at 9 p.m. on AMC.
