TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site, has stepped up their game and added a cool new feature that will allow restaurant operators to entice more customers. The new feature is called "Storyboard" and it is part of the company's new subscription package called "TripAdvisor Premium For Restaurants."

Basically, restaurants subscribed to the travel site will now be able to present a visual presentation-- a video that highlights the best features of the establishment, combined with its best reviews. Compared before when restaurants listed in TripAdvisor only has one primary photo to show for, this new feature is a fresh new tool that will delight potential customers.

According to TripAdvisor, "Storyboard will enable restaurants to turn their static photos and reviews into a dynamic visual presentation that showcases a restaurant's best features and delivers a powerful first impression to new customers, as well as a reminder for why past customers should dine again."

With more than four million restaurants registered on the travel site, not all of them are subscribed to TripAdvisor premium. However, with this newly added advertising tool, it's not going to be long when non-premium holders will upgrade their level of subscription.

Robin Ingle, TripAdvisor senior vice-president of global sales, said in a statement: "Research shows that with more proactive management of a business's presence on TripAdvisor, combined with frequent interaction with the data and insights we provide for our subscriber partners in the management centre, deepens engagement and drives increased revenue for a business."

"Providing a business with the opportunity to improve its content and customize its presence on TripAdvisor helps partners better understand and engage with their customers", he added.

Aside from the new storyboard feature, premium subscribers can now pick their favorite reviews, highlight them and pin them on the top of their page. They are now also prioritized when it comes to phone support with the TripAdvisor staff.
