"Counting On" Jessa Duggar announced last week that she was past her due date. The doctors assured her that it is but normal and all she has to do is just wait for the ripe moment.

At 4:26 a.m., a baby boy was born. Many of her friends and fans guessed that she will have a baby girl this time. The unexpected gender was a surprise but of course, everyone is happy seeing the bouncing baby. He weighs 8.11 lbs. and measures 21.75 inches long. He is quite a big boy for the Seewalds.

Jessa Duggar had a safe delivery as reported by The Hollywood Gossip. The couple thanked their well-wishers for their prayers. They also offered their thanks to God for giving them another baby. They are excited for their family of four.

The couple did not reveal the name of their new baby boy. Now that he is out in the world the excited couple can think of a good name for him. Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald waited to see their newborn before thinking of a name for him.

Their eldest son is named Spurgeon. Many were wondering about the name. The couple got it from the famed preacher Charles Spurgeon. The Wikipedia record of the man says that he is a "strong figure in the Reformed Baptist tradition. He defended the Church in agreement with the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. He understood and opposed the liberal and pragmatic theological tendencies in the Church of his day." He is also called the "Prince of Preachers."

The Duggars are devout Christians. Jill Duggar named their son Israel in honor of the country Israel which is the chosen people of God.

For sure the newborn baby will have another Biblical characters' name or the name of a great man of God of the present generation.

Meanwhile, Jill Duggar is also pregnant with her second baby. The couple has already announced that they are also having another baby boy. The "Counting On" moms will have all boys in the show.

The 25-year-old mother will give birth in July. Everyone is praying for her safe pregnancy as she was diagnosed with narrowed arteries. She is currently dealing with the condition while taking care of her unborn child as reported by The Stir. Her husband Derick Dillard has also a problem with his dentures that cause his loss of weight.

"Counting On" Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar are two strong women that try hard to keep their growing families happy, and safe. Stay tuned for more updates on the lives of the new mom and the mom-to-be again.
