If you loved watching "Sing,"The Secret Life of Pets," and "Minions," here's good news for you. Illumination announced that there is going to be a part 2 for all three movies.

Although it is very difficult for new animation companies to challenge Disney's legacy, but  Illumination Entertainment is doing a very good job. The company was just founded in 2007, but since then, it's popularity has soared, thanks to their great movies.

Forbes reported that Illumination and Universal/Comcast Corp has dated three sequels to three of their biggest franchises. "The Secret Life of Pets 2" is set to be released on July 3, 2019, "Minions 2" will be on July 3, 2020, and "Sing 2" will be released Christmas Day 2020.

"The Secret Life of Pets 2" will follow last year's blockbuster about the lives of our pets after we leave for work/school every day. The original movie grossed $875.5 million worldwide- proof that the movie should really get a sequel. The sequel will feature the return of writer Brian Lynch, and it will still be directed by Chris Renaud.

Another worldwide hit, "Minions," earned $1.159 billion globally in 2015. Actually, the movie is still on the all-time worldwide blockbuster list. It followed the story or Minions, the servers of history's most despicable villains. Their quest to find a new master led them to Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock). No official plot synopsis has been released for "Minions 2" yet.

Meanwhile, "Sing" grossed $429 million worldwide including $250 million domestically. The movie features voices of big stars like Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon. The movie is such a success, it even got a nomination for best animated movie at the 2017 Golden Globes, Variety reported. No cast or creative team has been announced for the movie's sequel yet.
