Being the first world leader to meet with US President Donald Trump in the White House, UK Prime Minister Theresa May set a new major diplomatic record. On Friday, Theresa May is set to fly to Washington after securing a closed door talks with Donald Trump, with the agenda of discussing the trade deal between the US and UK after the Brexit vote.

Before her discussions with Trump, Theresa May will first fly to Philadelphia to attend the annual congressional Republican Retreat. The Prime Minister is the very first Head of State of Government from outside the United States to attend the said conference.

In a report by Telegraph, Theresa May is expected to declare in the Republican Retreat the renewal of the "Special Relationship" of United Kingdom and America to join forces once more in lieu of the Brexit vote and the inauguration of Trump as the President of the United States.  

After his inauguration last Friday, Trump confirmed that the UK Prime Minister will visit him in the White House. However, the discussion between the leaders of the two most powerful countries in the world will only happen "very shortly".

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Theresa May was quoted saying that the Prime Minister was assured that she will have a good trade deal negotiation with Trump as this negotiation will likewise be for the interests of both countries and of the European Union, as well. However, the spokesman of Theresa May said that they will not give an opportunity for the Americans that is actually contradicting to the will of the people of UK.

The US President and the UK Prime Minister is set to do the talks at the Oval Office. Credible sources reveal that Theresa May is set to give an engraved ancient artefact called Quiach to Trump and a basket of Bakewell tarts to the first lady, Melania Trump.
