In the course of time, history has been changing and making things that were formerly forbidden in the past, to be legal in the future. Back in the years between 50's and 90's when there was the cold war in Russia, military reign in Myanmar, communism in Cuba and international sanctions in Iran, these places were forbidden such that our parents never had a chance to visit. With a couple of things having changed the do not go banner is lifted and we can now be visited. These are the illegal adventures.

According to FoxNews, Cuba being under communism for about 61 years, it was not a good place to visit. In 2014 communism was abolished and clear relations with the US created in 2016, now it is a must go destination. The Cubans are happy with the influx of tourists and happy that they share interests as baseball but the challenge is Cuba is still isolated and has a scarcity of ATM'S and internet café.

Following the international sanctions that the USA had placed over Iran, though visiting Iran was possible but it really never had guests from the USA because it never felt right. After lifting the sanctions in 2015, Americans visits Iran has increased. The challenge is the lack of Iranian embassy in the USA thus takes a long time to obtain a visa and security in Iran is not ensured.

As reported by Oyster, Myanmar although it is still recovering from military dictatorship, it is still a good place to go to. There are fascinating beaches to go but avoid political discussions and note that your emails and calls are monitored. More to it, do not take pictures of military facilities, have cash since ATM'S are scarce and avoid contact with government.

Nicaragua although named "the new Costa Rica," one should not expect to see new Costa Rica when you visit rather expect a unique experience. The country having emerged from a revolutionary war that killed many, it has established a tourism board and taking your three to four-hour flight from Miami or Houston you can directly fly to Nicaragua and enjoy the beach of pacific.
