If you want clutterless laptop, Dell's new 2-in-1 Latitude 7285 is for you. This hybrid laptop, which was announced at this year's CES, is the first first-ever known to have the wireless charging feature.

This laptop was designed to compete with the likes of Microsoft Surface and the Lenovo Flex. The laptop portion connects directly to a traditional keyboard dock, and when the two parts are connected, it looks similar to a traditional laptop.

According to The Verge, the laptop's components fit inside the tablet display, which can be attached to one of the three keyboards that come with it. One of these keyboards communicate with Dell's wireless charging pad - meaning when users place down on the mat with the charging keyboard attached, the power bypasses the keyboard and goes straight to the computer.

Technology experts say that the downside to this hybrid laptop is that the keyboard does not come with an extra battery, so don't expect to juice it up and still have some extra power on the go. The keyboard just serves as a wireless charging base which enables the mat to send power to the device. It has been reported, though, that Dell will offer another keyboard accessory that has its own battery, but it's not clear as to why the company chose to have this as a separate option.

This type of device is perfect for growing teams, small office spaces and an increasingly mobile workforce, TechRepublic reported. Dell's Latitude 7285 will be available later this year, but no specific release date has been announced yet.

Meanwhile, Dell also announced other products at CES. There's the Dell UltraSharp 32 Ultra HD 8K Monitor, the Dell Precision 7720 VR-ready mobile workstation. They also announced that there will be an upgraded line of XPS, Inspiron, and Alienware consumer devices and OptiPlex, Latitude, and Precision commercial products.
