‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ News & Updates: Fans Ecstatic About The New ''Transformers' Movie

Optimus Prime is back in "Transformers: The Last Knight." Fans are going crazy over the return of the beloved Autobots, they want to know the things to look out for in the new movie.

When it comes to the new film fans do not need to refresh themselves on the previous "Transformers" movies. This new film will be a brand new take on the beloved movie.

CinemaBlend reported that the film will focus on Autobots' mythology. The site explained that this movie is actually a mystery movie.

Autobot's leader Optimus Prime will be in the forefront of this story. The action-packed film will focus on the fight against Autobots and the Decepticons.

The film will also let us travel to the past focusing on the Arthurian Legend and World War II. According to the site, the movie will not lean so much on the previous movies but the main essence and original characters of the movie will still be there.

Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, "Transformers: The Last Knight" producer, explained to Collider that they created a bible of the Autobots and Decepticons' mythology. He stressed that there are some parts of the comic book that does not fit into the movie. Therefore, they did not include it.

The producers also said that they have created a mythological document of the "Transformers" Universe. Lorenzo Di Bonaventura also stressed that not every character in the movie has been included.

He said that they also have created new characters for the show. However, they also retained a lot of new characters, balancing the story.

Lorenzo Di Bonaventura also cleared up the rumor that this will be Michael Bay's last "Transformers" movie. Di Bonaventura explained that Bay has already said to the previous movies that it will be his last film but it was never the case.

He explained that a movie big as the "Transformers" is really exhausting. So, he understands if Michael Bay wants to let go of the franchise but he assured fans that as of to date Bay has not given notice that he is going to quit the franchise. Travelers Today reported that "Transformers: The Last Knight" will be in theaters on June 23, 2017.
