People knew that "Rick and Morty" would return but fans haven't expected that it might return sooner. During the recent interview, the series co-creator Dan Harmon revealed that more episodes are soon to be aired on the season 3 of the show later this year.

The final season does not have a date yet, but it was expected that its first episode will be aired sooner as it premiered an animatic clip. "Rick and Morty" Season 3 begins with a clip in Morty's high school and ends with Rick and Morty screaming at each other while crying at their ship.

The clip has revealed the speculations that the sci-fi comedy is officially ready to go on an adventure on air! "Rick and Morty" will have its new edition with a new comic title of "Rick and Morty: Pocket Like You Stole It." This offshoot comic was written by Tini Howard, together with Marc Ellerby and Katy Farina, Cinema Blend reported.

In the same report, the writer of the sci-fi comedy show Erica Rosbe shares that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is done and it was the animation part of the show which takes some time due to the quality part. As fans expect it to air later this year, other speculations also revealed that the show is coming out and going to air on 2017.

Harmon also expressed that the production of the show is going fast in getting the final season done. He added that scripts were already finished and the team needs to polish something to make everything neat.

Meanwhile, a report from Inverse indicates that the show will have 14 episodes to be aired on the third season and nine were already done. As for now, there is no confirmation date yet to when it is going to air the first episode. Fans must need to wait for the official announcement.
