Apple fans were ecstatic when news about next year's iPhone leaked. Reports say that Apple might release three new models in 2017, including an iPhone 8 that is a code-named "Ferrari."

Apple Insider said that a pair of alleged Apple manufacturing documents made its way to the internet on Tuesday, which may confirm rumors about what the iPhone maker will bring to the market. The documents were said to be surfaced by Sina Weibo, a user known for leaking information from Apple's East Asian supply chain.

It is said that there will be two launches for upgraded versions of iPhone 7, which will most probably be branded iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, and a high-end version with an exciting and exotic technology. The iPhone 8 is rumored to have a glass sandwich design, borderless OLED display, "invisible" home button, wireless charging and more.

The iPhone 8 will probably be sporting a large AMOLED panel, which will be crammed into a handset. Value Walk said that the bezel-less iPhone design will mean a larger display for the new model. iPhone 8 is also rumored to have the home button, Touch ID sensor, and camera beneath the display.

The next-generation iPhone might adopt advanced displays, and to achieve this, Apple needs Japanese technology. Canon Tokki Corporation has a monopoly on the machines capable of making screens with organic light-emitting diodes. This capability enables sharp, vibrant displays that use less energy.

Another speculation is that next year's iPhone releases will feature a divided motherboard. Reports say that the circuit card will be split into two pieces - one for operating elements, the other for Wi-Fi and cellular components.

Just last month, Macrumors suggested that Apple may ship its next iPhone in an all-glass casing. Another prediction is that Pegatron, not Foxconn, will be the new exclusive supplier of Apple's wireless charger. Apple is yet to comment on all these speculations.
