Ubisoft's "The Division" gets a massive update in bringing enhanced visuals for PlayStation 4 Pro owners. The update also covers the UI and will now be on native 4k.

According to online news outlet Wccftech, Ubisoft just released the "The Division" PS4 Pro patch and this gives some aesthetic advantage for PlayStation 4 Pro owners. The UI is now available at crystal clear 4K and the game an even more immersive experience.

The developer, however, did not provide all the details regarding the PS4 Pro patch, leaving PS4 Pro owners a little idea of what the update really contain. One graphically obvious change is the way where the shadows and reflections are represented in-game. It is now of higher quality and better resolution.

The game, however, is still rendered at 1080p HD regardless of the PlayStation 4 version is being used to play the game. The UI's 4K scale is only going to be released for the PS4 Pro as well.

Based on a post at N4G, the game still lacks the much-requested HDR feature. It is one of the biggest reasons for switching from the standard PlayStation 4 to the slightly better PlayStation 4 Pro. However, this is no indication of the feature, being ignored in the future.

"The Division" is also available for the PC and it stands out to be the best platform to let players bump its graphical scope at the highest possible settings. The full 4K resolution for every single element in the game can be utilized as well as NVIDIA-powered effects like HBAO+, PCSS, and HFTS.

There's still no news regarding the next update for "The Division" specifically for the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro, The most current bug fixes covers several issues with the "Survival" DLC as well as some reported Delta errors. The next update and DLC called "Last Stand" is expected to be coming around early 2017.
