The wait for a working iOS 10 jailbreak tool is excruciatingly painful, but no release date has been made yet. Despite the uncertainty of a public, hackers and communities are against the idea of upgrading to iOS 10.2 and here's why.

It is just a few more days before the official public release of iOS 10.2 is rolled out as the 5th beta version was made available for developers. However, a recent update from Redmondpie still strongly suggest users stick with their iOS 10.1.1 operating system.

More and more communities are starting to question the idea of upgrading to the latest version. In fact, even Forbes posted some skepticism with the upcoming update. This isn't even about the jailbreaking problem and more about the missed bug fixes and a tracking software that wasn't even part of the disclaimer.

Jailbreaking the iOS 9 was troublesome enough for Pangu that it took a considerable amount of time to crack the iOS 9.3.3 and below. Unfortunately, this was hack was short lived that it didn't take that long for iOS 10 to roll out. Some users even stumbled into problems when using the Windows-based tool.

One of the most prominent hackers in the scene named Luca Todesco also warns about upgrading to iOS 10.2 simply due to the fact that it will prove more difficult to crack Apple's system and have Cydia installed. Todesco succeeded in cracking the security of earlier iOS 10 variants and if there's any recommendation to go by, his advice would be something that iDevice owners may take note of.

However, for those who have lost interest with the idea of jailbreaking their iPhones and iPads may proceed to upgrade to iOS 10.2 as the final version is now available through the Software Update option on supported devices. Will you update to the latest iOs update?
