Apart from the PlayStation 4, "Rime" will also be released for the Xbox One, PC and surprisingly enough, the Nintendo Switch. While there are a lot of fans who are still skeptical about the Nintendo Switch's capabilities, getting "Rime" to run on it might turn the tables for the hybrid console.

According to a note from Gematsu, the former PlayStation 4 exclusive game titled "Rime" will now be also made available for the other current gen console, Xbox One as well as the PC. What came in by a surprise to some fans is that it will also be out for the Nintendo Switch.

It was recently listed as a PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch title on the Brazilian Ratings Board. This came as a surprise for PlayStation 4 owners as Sony have made a prior announcement about not publishing the game anymore due to Tequila Works, the team behind the game, parting ways with them.

Fortunately, Grey Box along with Six Foot will be working with Tequila Works to make the game happen and this time, not as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Fans may expect more than what have been shared back in Gamescom 20134, where the game was initially announced.

"Rime" is a puzzle game that will put players in the shoes of a boy who survived a shipwreck and end up in a mysterious island. Currently, there aren't much to say or see besides the trailer, which hints that the game will be puzzle-heavy.

Fans' comments are starting to come up into a conclusion that the Nintendo Switch might actually be close to being powerful with the PlayStation 4, while others still find it subjective. Still, being able to play a supposedly console game on the go will be a major game-changer for a lot of fans.

More updates can be expected in early 2017, which is coincidentally the same timeframe, where Nintendo have promised to bring out the Switch to the public. "Rime" has a good chance of being one of the launch titles if this would be the case.
