Sony Introduces PS4 Nacon 'Revolution Pro' Controller, Better Than Razer Raiju? Find Out And Pre-Order Here

PlayStation 4 owners and soon to be owners of the higher-end PlayStation 4 Pro may soon get into the elite side of Sony's console gaming with the recently announced Revolution Pro, which is a third party controller under the "pro" category. The best controller in the market for the gaming console.

Sony's third party partner, Nacon, recently published a page dedicated for the Revolution Pro Controller. There have been numerous third party controllers announced for the PlayStation 4 in the past, but two elite controllers currently have the spotlight.

It is still debatable among fans as to which controller between the Razer Raiju and the Nacon Revolution Pro is better. Still, a number of commenters from the YouTube video below as well as the page on N4G indicates that the elite gamers might be siding with the Xbox style layout. Putting the left analog stick on the upper side of the controller's face for the PlayStation is something entirely new for those who have always used Sony's console.

The Revolution Pro front buttons are less crowded as compared with the Razer Raiju, but it isn't lacking the elite features. For one, the D-Pad for the Revolution Pro has a true 8-direction function for more precise controls. This is especially useful for players who prefer using the D-Pad on certain game situations rather than the analog stick.

The controller also has a 46-degree amplitude, which is significantly higher than most controllers with an analog stick. On top of the standard shoulder buttons, the Revolution Pro also includes four shortcut buttons on the back that are also macro programmable.

Other neat features include the standard 3.5mm audio jack for the headset. There's also the customizable weight adjustment to tailor various players' preferences.

Interested players can now pre-order the Revolution Pro with a price tag of £89.99 or around $113.00. It may appear expensive, but it is actually less expensive than the Razer Raiju, which is £149.99. For a complete list of all the features, consumers can head over to Nacon Gaming's official website.
