Did your plans for this summer vacation got postponed or worse canceled because your pockets don't agree with your summer goals? Worry no more because Jetstar Australia is cutting down their flight prices up to $39 to several popular holiday destinations.

According to News.com.au and Daily Mail, Jetstar is giving away discounted fares to the most popular holiday spots including Bali, Thailand, Hawaii, Tokyo, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. The travel dates fall on the days of Jan. to March of the coming year.

Sale fares include from Melbourne-Launceston from $45, Melbourne-Hobart from $49, Melbourne-Adelaide from $55, Melbourne-Sydney from $55. Additionally, key routes being increased over the peak holidays include flights from Cairns to Osaka and Perth, Gold Coast to Tokyo, Sydney to Hawaii, and Brisbane to Whitsunday Coast.

The Jetstar group CEO, Jayne Hrdlicka said that these flight discounts and flight boosting are in response to the high demand during the busiest time of the year. Hrdlicka said, on behalf of the airlines, that they understood how important low fares were to families during the holiday season.

"This year we're making it even easier for families and travelers to take a break by flying more often to their favorite holiday destinations," she said. "We know costs can start to add up for families over the festive season, but they can still pick up last minute low fares over summer," she said.

Up to 80 beautiful destinations around the world are given a low fare since this is the perfect time for relaxation, to explore overseas, and visit interstate beaches. Fares are one-way, web-only and based on the deselection of optional extras and the availability may be limited. Checked baggage not included and travel dates are selected in 2017 and conditions apply.

What are you waiting for? Hurry and book your flights now! This Christmas sale ends at midnight on Dec. 15. See Jetstar for more details.
