Who does not love Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), right? So, it's hard to take in when Marvel Cinematic Universe will feature Captain America without Steve Rogers in it.

Marvel Studios brought to life a lot of comic book characters such as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson) and Captain America (Chris Evans). However, due to turn of events in "Captain America: Civil War", different fan-theories came to the conclusion that Steve Rogers will be out of the red, white and blue, according to CinemaBlend.

During an interview with Collider about the "Doctor Strange" being released next month, Kevin Feige Marvel Studios President was asked on what the future holds for the "Captain America" and if the movie can exist without Steve Rogers.

He responded, "If we look back at the comic books as our inspiration and as the well from which this all springs, then the answer is 'no.' ... I'm not saying we'll do it in the movie, but I've read Captain America comics that don't have Steve Rogers in them."

For people who are not familiar with the Captain America comic books, both Bucky Barnes (aka Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan) and Sam Wilson (aka Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie) were entrusted with the shield and assumed the position of Cap. Will one of them take over the role as Captain America and so, where will Steve Rogers be?

Viewers still believe that Steve Rogers is coming back because of the scene from "Civil War", where Steve Rogers left his shield thinking that he no longer deserves it, CinemaBlend detailed. On the other hand, Anthony and Joe Russo, "Civil War" directors claimed, ""I think him dropping that shield is him letting go of that identity. [It's] him admitting that certainly the identity of Captain America was in conflict with the very personal choice that he was making."

Whether the future of Steve Rogers is already numbered will only lay in the hands of Kevin Feige and Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although, fans of Chris Evans might not like this idea at all.
