Do it on a Whym - Your Newest App Partner in Grabbing Budget Bookings

When traveling, it is usually always best to book all important tourist destinations way in advance, to make sure that you do not run our of tickets, or to get the early bird price. However, new ticket-booking app is about to become all last minute planners' newest best friend.

"Whym: Last-Minute Tickets, Tours and Attractions" is perfect for spur-of the-moment travelers. It currently sells tickets to attractions and tourist destinations in the following cities: Barcelona, Rome, Paris, London, San Diego, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Using filters such as "Date ideas", "Kid-friendly", or "Food and Drinks", makes it easier to focus on the activities you want to be doing. In addition, information about the attraction are written on the side, to get you more excited for the activity.

For example, according to Budget Travel, "A few discounts that we liked are a London Landmarks Bike Tour (think Big Ben, Parliament...) for about $28 instead of $36, a Grand Canyon National Park VIP Tour for $163 instead of $199, and a Go San Francisco Card (which gets you into 30 top attractions, plus discounts on dining and shopping) for $49 instead of $60."

On the downside, however, Jen Leo of the LA Times says that, "When it says last minute, it means last minute. I wanted to book activities on a Thursday for a trip that began on Friday of the following week, but I could access activities no more than seven days in advance." In addition, it seems that as of the moment, only Apple Pay is being accepted as the app's form of payment.

With some fine-tuning and maintenance to be done, this app could change the world for travelers who do not like having a set schedule. The Whym app is available for free on the App Store for iOS 8.0 and above, and on Google Play on Andriod 4.1 and above.
