The $180 million Mega Millions winner on Aug. 22 was won by 53-year-old Rick Knudsen of Calimesa. Knudsen decided to take the cash option lump sum amount of $107 million before federal taxes, according to the Mega Millions website.
The Nov. 4 winner of the $321 million Mega Millions jackpot is still unknown.
Meanwhile, today's $20 Mega Millions jackpot has a lump-sum cash option of $12 million.
