Pregnant man divorce case finally turned out positive for the Arizona transgender man. The man made headlines after giving birth to three children following a sex change from female to male. What appeared to be a hopeless case, resulted favourably for the pregnant man divorce situation.

According to the Daily Mail, an Arizona state appeals court finally decided on Wednesday that "Pregnant Man" Thomas Beatie can continue to pursue a divorce with his wife of more than 10 years. The decision on the pregnant man divorce case would be a reverse from a former decision by a lower court judge who refused to allow the couple's divorce.

His Hawaiian marriage in 2003 can now be dissolved in an Arizona court. The decision was made by a three-judge panel of the Arizona Court of Appeals. They ruled that Thomas Beatie's marriage to Nancy Beatie was valid in Arizona and that it wasn't a same-sex union.

According to Reuters, in the 12-page opinion on the pregnant man divorce case, Judge Kenton D. Jones said, 'As the Beaties' Hawaii marriage was lawfully entered in Hawaii and is not deemed void by Arizona law, the marriage is valid within this state.'

USA Today reports that in March 2013, the future of the pregnant man divorce case seemed bleak after a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Douglas Gerlach blocked the divorce. Gerlach reportedly ruled that Beatie's marriage was between two women since he had given birth.

Attorney David Michael Cantor, Thomas Beatie's representative, said the ruling on the pregnant man divorce case will help to finally close this chapter of Beatie's life, since it allows a legal recognition to his marriage.

Cantor said, 'The state of Arizona has officially recognized him as a man and that his marriage was valid, and because his marriage was valid, his kids were born in wedlock, which is important to him.'

According to USA Today, Cantor also quoted Beatie as saying, 'I feel I have finally been recognized in Arizona as not just a man, but a human being.'

40-year-old Beatie, according to the Daily Mail, made headlines after he changed sex before his marriage. However, he decided to retain his female reproductive organs to give birth after Nancy Beatie was unable to have children because she had a hysterectomy.

Beatie appeared in a talk-show and tabloid circuit posing as "The Pregnant Man"  with a thin beard, manly chest and a very pregnant belly.

Beatie became pregnant three times through donated sperm. He gave birth to in 2008 to his first child and subsequently had two more by 2011.

Beatie and his wife moved to Arizona. When their marriage began falling apart, the couple of more than 10 years sought a divorce.

Filed in 2012, the divorce seeked for dissolution of the marriage. Beatie now wants to marry his current girlfriend, and the marriage would prove highly likely after the pregnant man divorce case.

Beatie was born in Hawaii a woman, but as an adult he had a double-mastectomy and chest reconstruction surgeries. To fully become a man, he also started testosterone hormone therapy and psychological treatment.

Pregnant man divorce case might not have been possible before, but the recent decision showcases society's gradual acceptance of the existence of the LGBT community as normal human beings.
