14-year-old boy Walmart story is the unusual yet fascinating story of a runaway teen who lived in Walmart for two days. The boy was amazingly able to avoid detection for that long and now the 14-year-old boy Walmart story is making headlines.

In a report by CBS Dallas, the 14-year-old boy Walmart story would probably have lasted more than two days if employees at a Corsicana Walmart were not able to find the teenage boy. As such, they were shocked upon seeing the boy apparently secretly living inside the store for two days.

According to the Daily Mail, the 14-year-old boy Walmart story went on for so long as the teen was able to go unnoticed by his constant changing of clothes. He was also apparently smart enough to be able to create two tiny makeshift houses where he was able to carefully hide in. He decided to place these forts behind the store's stockpiles of goods.

The identity of the boy in the 14-year-old boy Walmart story has not been identified. He was reported missing on Jul. 28, reports ABC News.

Around 11 p.m., two days later he went missing, employees found the boy and police were called to the around-the-clock Walmart store.

It appears that customers were as baffled as employees with the 14-year-old boy Walmart story. They hadn't noticed the forts the teen was living in as they were walking down the aisles of the store.

According to CBS News, the forts contained necessities, makeshift beds and edible items taken from inside the store. He sustained himself through the stolen food. The boy also cut a hole in the wall behind the drink aisle to keep himself hydrated. From the hole, he grabbed juice and even collected a fish from the pet department.

Upon hearing the 14-year-old boy Walmart story, Myrna Aguilar, a Walmart customer said, 'You would never expect that you're at Walmart there's someone living there and has been living there for four days. That's crazy.'

CBS Dallas reportedly obtained exclusive photos of two the campsites at the Walmart in Corsicana where the boy stayed. One of them campsites was on the aisle carrying baby products behind boxes of strollers, while the other was behind stacks of paper towels and toilet paper.

There were also images released today by news station KTVT showing the two forts.

Other photos supporting the 14-year-old boy Walmart story show clothing which employees said the boy had used to change in and out of every few hours to avoid detection.

According to sources, the boy even wore diapers instead of using the store restroom several times a day, since he was so concerned of detection.

But, eventually, the 14-year-old boy Walmart story wouldn't last for long and the teen was detected through a trail of trash. According to ABC News, the trail led the Walmart employees to the boy.

Even when caught, the teen wouldn't give up and he even tried to run out of the store. Police were called in and he was caught. He was brought to the police station and the police chief said he was in "fine condition" physically.

The 14-year-old boy Walmart story ends there and the boy has since been turned over to his relatives, reports the Daily Mail.

Customer Megan Nicholson said of the 14-year-old boy Walmart story, 'I'm wondering what his parents think, and how come he didn't come home, and why aren't they worried about him.'

According to a press release statement from the Corsicana Police Department of the 14-year-old boy Walmart story, police did not notify Child Protective Services since there were no indications of the boy having lived in a dangerous environment, nor were there signs of abuse or neglect.

CBS Dallas said that CPS told them the boy lives with relatives but was visiting other relatives when he disappeared.

According to the release on the 14-year-old boy Walmart story, on Monday, Jul. 28, the boy was being watched by his aunt on when he ran out of the wrong door while she was watching TV.

Apparently, the boy's parents from Rice, Texas, were out of town so the aunt had to watch over him. She reported him missing to police that afternoon. The boy's mother also confirmed that he really had a history of running away. The boy reportedly stayed in creeks, abandoned buildings or businesses often after running away.

Though the CPS said they are usually called in to investigate cases like this, they were not called this time. ABC News reports that the county's Juvenile Probation Office is now handling the case of the 14-year-old boy Walmart.

Meanwhile, though the 14-year-old boy Walmart story involved the boy stealing merchandise, there has been no indication that Walmart had plans to file criminal charges at this point.

14-year-old boy Walmart story may still remain a mystery as the boy's motive for running away has never been identified. Brian Nick, Walmart Company spokesman said in a statement, 'This is a sad situation and we are still looking into the details of what happened. As soon as the manager learned that child was hiding in our store we contacted authorities for help and we hope the child is safe.'
