Robin Williams' death at 63 is certainly a shocker which many from the world over has yet to recover from. Robin Williams was found dead yesterday afternoon in his Tiburon, Calif. home, where he lived with his wife of three years, said the Marin County Sheriff's department.

Robin Williams was found dead around noon Monday after a 911 call was placed from their home at 11:55 a.m. According to Forbes, almost immediately at 12 p.m., the Marin County Sheriff's Office, the Tiburon Fire Department and the Southern Marin Fire Protection District sent emergency personnel to the scene.

According to Forbes, the suicide by asphyxia angle to Robin Williams' death is still in suspicion by the Coroner Division. However, a comprehensive investigation must still be completed before a final determination is made, reports The Mirror.

Press representatives of Robin Williams said the beloved comedian was currently battling depression, which may be the cause of his suicide.

The death of Robin Williams is currently being investigated by the Investigations and Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff's Office. According to police, he was last seen alive at his residence - where he was also found dead - at approximately 10:00 pm on Sunday.

Robin Williams' wife, Susan Schneider, is suspected to be the one who has found him, but that information isn't clear. All reports are saying about who found Robin Williams dead was that he was found "by family." Williams had wed Schneider on Oct. 23, 2011.

Schneider said in a statement released by the publicist of Robin Williams, 'I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken."

The statement on the death of Robin Williams also said, 'On behalf of the Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he game to millions.'

He said, 'I could not be more stunned by the loss of Robin Williams, mensch, great talent, acting partner, genuine soul.' La Toya Jackson also joined in the outpouring of grief.


Of course, Ellen De Generes also took to Twitter to express sadness.

Comedian Adam Hills said, 'I'm about to go to bed and have just read the news about Robin Williams. I'm hoping that when I wake up it will be a hoax. Please.' Star Trek Actor William Shatner said, 'I do hope the reports on Robin Williams are incorrect.' Lindsay Lohan thanked Robin Williams for his kindness back when she made her Hollywood debut. Kevin Spacey praised his ability to 'make us both laugh and think.' According to The Mirror, Cher's outpouring of grief may perhaps be considered the biggest amongst stars. The singer and actress has constantly been expressing her sadness after the tragic news of Robin Williams' death broke.
