Phoenix church attack has left one priest dead and one parishioner injured on Wednesday. Meanwhile, police are still investigating the incident and are reportedly looking for answers to the questions of many for the Phoenix church attack.

The Associated Press reports that on Friday, authorities have released what is said to be little more than a "limited description" of the suspect of the Phoenix church attack.

According to The Washington Post, the killer of one priest in a Phoenix church attack on Wednesday has still been unidentified. By Friday, investigators are still searching for solid leads for the killing of one priest and the critical injury of an assistant pastor at a Roman Catholic church in downtown Phoenix.

Meanwhile, the victims of the Phoenix church attack have been identified as 56-year-old Rev. Joseph and 29-year-old Kenneth Walker. Terra served as pastor while Walker was an assistant pastor.

Deacon Jim Trant of the Diocese of Phoenix is considering the possibility that the suspect or suspects of the Phoenix church attack might have only knocked on the church door to be allowed in by the priests.

According to reports, the attack was only reported by 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday when Terra called 911 to report a burglary. He reportedly administered last rites to then wounded Walker while waiting for the police to arrive. Rev. Fred Adamson, the vicar general of the Phoenix Diocese said that the administration of rites brought a "great deal of comfort and consolation to us as Catholics, that he was able to extend that in his own suffering."

According to Sgt. Steve Martos, the suspect for the Phoenix church attack at the Mother of Mercy Mission has been described as a white male between the ages of 40 and 49 years. The suspect has reportedly just come from an interview with Terra. Despite the lead, CNN reports that police are still unsure whether only one suspect involved in the killing or if robbery was the Phoenix church attack motive, said Martos.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for anyone with information leading to an arrest of the Phoenix church attack killer.

In the on-going investigation, authorities have reportedly found a vehicle which belongs to a Rev. Kenneth Walker. Walker died at a hospital late Wednesday where he was taken after the Phoenix church attack. The vehicle was discovered abandoned a few blocks away from the church.

Police are trying to identify if the suspect or suspects of the Phoenix church attack took the 2003 Mazda and left it behind after the crime. Authorities are now examining the vehicle to search for clues in the "tragic and appalling criminal violation", according to Phoenix Police Chief Daniel Garcia.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton has addressed the Phoenix church attack and said in a statement that the city was shocked and saddened by the incident.

On Thursday, parishioners gathered across the street from the church where the Phoenix church attack occurred. The parishioners reportedly kneeled on the sidewalk while praying on the rosary beside a bouquet of flowers and a photograph of Walker.

According to The Associated Press, the two priests who became victims of the Phoenix church attack lived at the Mother of Mercy Mission near the state Capitol. Terra is now hospitalized and is currently in critical condition with unspecified wounds, but is able to talk, said Parishioner Bill Haley who visited Terra in the hospital. Haley said, "He said nothing evil about the person who did this, expressed no ill will."

Haley added of Terra, "He truly is a father, and he loves his parishioners deeply. He would care for both our spiritual as well as our physical good." While Terra was the loving father, Walker was the "young priest full of energy". He was said to have loved baseball and the outdoors. He would allegedly learn the names of each new parishioner and would even visit some for dinners at their homes, cited Haley.

Phoenix church attack is a tragic and ironic as the two victims previously believed that the church was a safe place to live in.
