Patients and Infants Rescued as Hail Storm Caused Lismore Base Hospital to Collapse
About 12 mothers and 5 babies were rescued just in time before the roof of a maternity ward in Lismore Base Hospital collapsed brought about by the hail storm and accompanying severe weather conditions. NSW fire brigade, ambulance, police and SES responded to the scene to ensure that everyone is safe.
