Santa Claus is perhaps one of the people who influenced a great number of the population, especially children, but never really did exist. He is a legendary figure who is said to give kids presents on Christmas Eve provided they were nice and not naughty throughout the year. This joyous and generous bearded chubby old man is usually seen wearing red clothes with occasional white fur to keep himself warm. He may not have truly existed but almost everyone can associate him in a way that most descriptions are common.

However, Paul Mason decided to take a fashionable spin at this holiday icon by being a 'Fashion Santa' for the sake of charity. Mason, a model who has been in the industry for 30 years, is seen in Yorkdale Mall in Toronto sporting stylish clothing and a white beard but he does away with the bulky figure. He appears like how Santa would look if he had a modelling career during his youth. He can be found inside the mall between Hudson's Bay and Harry Rosen. His photoshoot feature stylish outfits from the shopping centre's top retailers like Moncler, Ferragamo, John Varvatos and many more.

Yorkdale Mall will donate a dollar for every selfie taken with Fashion Santa by an adult who then posts it on social media with a #YorkdaleFashionSanta hashtag. The proceeds will go to Sick Kids foundation.

'It's a modern spin on the typical Santa photos,' Mason said 'I do so many selfies because of my profile and beard, so it seemed like a natural fit.'

Be that as it may, Mason tries to steer away from kids so that he won't distort the image of the usual children-friendly Santa Claus. He admitted that he is trying to get the attention of adults without confusing the innocent children.
