Eric Hill ‘Bachelorette’ Tribute: Paid By The Show On Premiere Recap
Eric Hill 'Bachelorette' tribute video was recently created by the show 'The Bachelorette' on their premiere episode. In the Eric Hill 'Bachelorette' tribute video, Andi Dorfman shared her feelings on the recent death of Hill.
Eric Hill passed away on April 23 during a paragliding accident in Utah. He was 32. On May 19 Monday, Chris Harrison paid a tribute to the late bachelor on 'The Bachelorette's' season 10 premiere. According to Hollywood Life, before Andi Dorfman started searching for love on the season 10 premiere of 'The Bachelorette', Chris Harrison first announced that the season would be dedicated to Eric Hill, hence the Eric Hill 'Bachelorette' tribute video. Hill died shortly after he finished filming.
As Chris stood in front of the mansion in the very beginning of the episode, he delivered a beautiful Eric Hill 'Bachelorette' tribute video. He said:
"Throughout the years many hundreds of men and women have come on this show in search of love, and they've all become a part of what we consider part of this family. At this time, we'd like to take a moment to honor one of these men - our friend, Eric Hill. Eric passed away shortly after concluding his filming o this show. In the coming weeks, you'll see Eric was a vibrant man. Every day he impressed us with his passion and courageous spirit. He will be greatly missed, and we dedicate this season, to him."
According to People, when Andi heard the news of Hill's death, she felt, "shock, devastation, grief. It's something you never could have predicted [or] expected." He was reportedly part of their family, and Dorfman had just seen him. She added, "He was a member of our cast and we had an inherent bond. The [other contestants] shared that bond too. It was shocking and devastating to all of us and it's still a tough thing that we're going through."
Dorfman also said reminisced in the Eric Hill 'Bachelorette' tribute, and said that Hill had this "love for life" which was his greatest quality. This came as no surprise because Hill was on a mission to travel to every country in the world within 1,200 days on "The Global Odyssey."
In the Eric Hill 'Bachelorette' tribute video, Andi Dorfman was shown with Hill on their touching first meeting. According to Daily Mail, Hill was a hopeful on the hit ABC show. However, he died shortly before the filming of the show was completed. Hill may be edited out of the season, but instead producers opted to dedicate the season to him.
