'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Spoilers: Mark Gatiss Shares A Big Hint About The Ending Of HBO's Medieval Fantasy Drama

Apr 10, 2017 04:30 AM EDT

"Game of Thrones" fans will soon end their agony waiting for the most downloaded TV show. Season 7 will hit the small screen on July 16. Stars of the HBO drama are already giving hints about their characters.

Mark Gatiss who plays the role of the Iron Bank head Tycho Nestoris of Braavos dropped a big hint about the ending of the upcoming season. According to Express, the 50-year-old actor revealed the possible ending during the Radio Times Festival and BFI that he will be returning. He added that he love to be in the show because he has no stake in it. He knows nothing about the ins and outs in the show which makes it more exciting. The cast gets to know their parts bit by bit as the show progresses.

Gatiss revealed that he got the chance to have dinner with the show runners David Benioff and Daniel Weiss two years ago in Croatia. He pitched an idea about his character. He suggested he be the last one alive in the ending. He added that if anyone survives, it should be the banker. The two heads of the show smiled and plotted the demise of his character, he said with a bit of humor.

The "Our Kind of Traitor" star hinted that Braavos could bring into the big battle between the White Walkers and mankind after the Seven Kingdoms fail to pay back the enormous amount of debt it has accumulated over the years.

He continued to reveal that The Iron Bank might form an alliance with Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) in her attempt to retake the Iron Throne. The Mother of Dragons and Kit Harington will join forces to take down the supernatural evil forces that threaten to ensure an eternal winter.

It has already been suggested that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and the Mother of Dragons will team up to take down the sinister supernatural forces that threaten to ensure an eternity of winter.

Readers of the novel already know Westeros is bankrupt and heavily indebted to Braavos. This will cause future problems when the Seven Kingdoms fail to repay back. This coincides with what Mark Gatiss just revealed and Braavos might rise up against the Lannisters for failure to pay their debts.

HBO has released a trailer for season 7. According to Independent, a compilation of the various shows on HBO showed the "Game of Thrones" characters wearing their costumes. Clues were drawn on who will interact with whom and where in season 7.

The clip includes the characters of Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) Lannister and Cersei (Lena Headey) as well as the Stark children, Arya (Maisie Williams), Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) - three of whom are wearing the same Winterfell costume which could hint a possible reunion.

What was interesting was Daenerys Targaryen and her advisors Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) wearing authoritative new costumes which may mean Daenerys really means business. Other characters shown were "Star Wars" star Gwendoline Christie playing Brienne of Tarth and the Hound (Rory McCann) and Varys (Conleith Hill).

Ample hints have been given away this early. Stay tuned for more updates as "Game of Thrones" season 7 approaches.
