Amanda Platell of Daily Mail wrote a question as to why Clooney's wife was given honors for merely doing her occupation as a lawyer. Admittedly, she wrote that the Lebanese-British lawyer has rendered services pro-bono for selected clients but believes that there are more women out in the world who deserve true honors.
The author added that marrying the opulent George Clooney might have made her qualified for the award. Indeed, Alamuddin's marriage to the "Hail! Cesar" star made her world famous.
