Star-studded Red Nose Day 2016 Special On NBC: Jane Lynch, Ellen Degeneres, Zac Efron, Emma Thompson, Among The Guests

NBC hosts Annual Red Nose Day 2016, a day that is aimed to give back to kids in need around the world.

NBC head Paul Telegdy said, "Live events are really, really important to this company. And this is one of those times when you get to do something that is great entertainment but also really stands for something." The funds gathered from the event will be used for keeping children educated, safe and healthy.

This time, there are a lot of celebrities who would take part. 65 celebrities are gracious enough to join the event. Craig Ferguson will host it.

For the last 25 years, Red Nose Day has raised over USD$1 billion worldwide for the British charity Comic Relief. It is not just celebrated in America, but also UK (where it is founded), Germany, Finland and Iceland. In fact, it was only last year when America decided to join in the fundraising campaign, where it gathered over USD$23 million.
