The anime feature "Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry," which is set to showcase heroes such as Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, and more, have revealed a new key visual for the movie. Natu's voice actor Tetsuya Kakihara and Lucy's Aya Hirano will also have a special greeting during the opening day screening.

According to a report from ComicBook, the anime feature is said to lead to the final arc of the "Fairy Tail" series. Creator Hiro Mashima said that the manga version of the series is already in its final stages, which means fans are getting closer to seeing the conclusion of both the manga and the anime series.

The new poster revealed the main characters of the series in Natsu, Lucy, Erza Scarlet, Gray Fullbuster, and Wendy Marvell. The two exceed Happy and Carla can also be seen in the poster and with a dragon appearing in the background.

The "Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry" anime feature is about the powerful artifact called Dragon Cry that is said to be powerful enough to destroy the world being stolen by Zash Cain (Jiro Saito) and is taken to the kingdom of Stella, according to Crunchyroll.

The kingdom is said to be ruled by King Animus (Makoto Furukawa) and a magician named Sonya (Aoi Yuki). It is up to Natsu and his friends to try and stop the destruction of the world.

The movie is said to premiere on May 6, 2017 and the report said that Kakihara and Hirano will be presenting a special greeting to the fans during the movie's opening day at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku. Tatsuma Minamikawa directed the anime feature with Shoji Yonemura writing the script.

The character designs were overseen by Yuuko Yamada and Yasuharu Takanashi scored the feature for the movie. Completing the cast of the anime feature are Rie Kugimiya who plays Happy, Yuichi Nakamura as Gray, Sayaka Ohara as Erza, Satomi Sato as Wendy, and Yui Horie as Carla.
