It seems that the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" will feature the return of two main characters. Alex Karev will be back after he is re-hired, and Bailey seems intent on bringing back Meredith Grey after her suspension.

Gosh TV reports that upon his return, Alex will be surprised at what is happening at the hospital. Fans of the show will remember that the pediatric doctor almost went to jail for assault. But eventually the charges were dropped, and since he has no record, he can work at the hospital again.

But he'll find out that Meredith Grey is suspended following her refusal to allow Dr. Eliza Minnick to go into her OR. Speaking of Meredith, TV Guide reports that Bailey wants her to come back working soon, but the former is unsure of the changes in the hospital.

In the teaser posted for "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 14, the two old friends are seen discussing the issue of Minnick coming to the hospital and taking over Dr. Webber's role. Meredith, along with most of the doctors, is standing their former chief. Bailey insists that what she is doing is right, but Meredith begs to differ. Given Minnick's reaction to the death of the child patient last week, many may think that her coming to the hospital is a mistake.

Even though Bailey wants her to come back as chief of general surgery, Meredith tells her boss that she cannot just be a yes man. She insists that Bailey needs to understand that she (Meredith) will tell her when she feels that Bailey is making a mistake in her decision, such as the arrival of Minnick.

Meanwhile, Minnick is getting closer to Arizona Robbins, but it is unsure if their relationship will progress given how unpopular the former is to the rest. What do you think will happen when Meredith returns in the next episodes of "Grey's Anatomy?" Share your thoughts and comments below.
