"The Royals" season 3 finale ended with the audience knowing who has been making everyone's life miserable this past season. So who fired Spencer, broke up Eleanor and Jasper, and broke his girl's heart?

Robert, who has recently become king, is responsible for all these. E! News even goes so far as to call King Robert a monster after all that he has done. And now that he has the most powerful position in the land, who knows what else he will do in the next season?

One thing that was probably surprising for fans is that the late King Simon himself actually thought that Robert was not fit for the throne. EW reports that the reason that Simon wanted to abolish the monarchy was his eldest son. Simon knew that Robert would never make a great king despite being gifted. Now some theories are surfacing that Robert was not even in the plane crash, but rather planned everything to make himself a hero.

Robert did not hesitate to get involved in the lives of his mother and sister too. He fired Spencer Hoenigsberg as his mother's right-hand man after seeing them getting close. He was, of course, comforting the queen about the demise of Jack Parker, who died in a plane crash. When confronted by his own mother, all he said was that he was the king and he had the right to do what he wanted.

He also ruined Jasper and Eleanor's relationship by burning the letter of his sister. He also orchestrated the involvement of Harper, who blackmailed the bodyguard. And last but not the least, he broke up with Kathryn in the worst way possible.

He revealed that he knew about her and Liam and when asked by Kathryn why he never said that he knew, he called her a whore.

Now season 4 of "The Royals" will feature an alliance of Liam and Cyrus to bring the present king down. Do you think they will be successful? Should Liam be crowned king? Share your thoughts and comments below.
