Being one of the best series to stream from Netflix, "Black Mirror" season 4 is a hot topic among viewers who are waiting for more updates about the show. The sci-fi anthology series created by Charles Brooker is set to return to the small screen sometime in autumn. Here is some more news about the groundbreaking series.

Telegraph UK reports that Academy-Award winner Jodie Foster is set to direct one episode of the show. Brooker has stated that Foster's episode will have an indie film feel will include a mother-daughter relationship. He went on to tell how delighted he was that within a week of sending her the script, they were already communicating through Skype. It will apparently include Rosemarie DeWitt.

Season 4 will also feature what Brooke describes as the most overtly comic episode they have done so far. There is no report yet on whether this is the one that will be shot in Iceland. All Brooke promises is that the new season will offer more variety that the previous installments.

One thing that fans should not expect, though, is a sequel to the much loved season 3 episode "San Junipero." Entertainment IE reports that they have no plans to shoot a continuation of the story. Unlike the other released episodes, the love story inspired by the 1980s had a happy ending, so many viewers were speculating a sequel.

But Brooke says that though the thought of a sequel may have passed their minds, there was also fear as "San Junipero" was really well-loved and well-made. As a groundbreaking series, "Black Mirror" might not want to revisit a previous idea for their new season, hence the hesitation on the creator's part to do a story much like "San Junipero."
