Planning to go camping out with friends or family while finding ways to unwind for a few days out in the wilderness? The first things you need to think of whenever you go out camping out are the essential needs - most of all, the tent.

Whether your tent will be enough for the camping site or you just want to camp somewhere or anywhere, one company has found the solution for that issue. iKamper has introduced a quite unique tent experience for travelers who wants to sleep in more 'magical way' - on top of their cars.

In an article by the Lonely Planet, founder of iKamper Soon Park said, "iKamper roof top tents are my little tree house dreams come true." He further said, "Anyone who has read Mary Osborne's Magic Tree House series dreams of having his or her own tree house that takes them to a mysterious land."

"The idea of having my own private room that takes me to all mysterious lands and unrevealed places fascinates me even now. iKamper roof top tents make dreams come true," Park said.

The idea struck Park while reading the novel On the Road by Jack Kerouac. Park said that like Kerouac, he also loves to travel and decided to go from Boston to Los Angeles and back. That was then the idea of having to camp on top of the vehicle has started

Park created around 20 prototypes and made the final product by 2014. A series of tests were conducted until it hit the market in the second half of the year.

"With your little tree house on top of your car, you can go anywhere - strange lands and unknown places. Every day is so busy and repetitive that I sometimes want to step away from my life to rest and take a breath," he said.
