Did James Franco try to pick up a 17-year-old girl through Intagram? That's what sources are saying.
According to Gawker, actor James Franco report, or someone very good at pretending to be him, tried to arrange a hookup with a teen through the social media outlet. A teenager from Scotland named Lucy Clode reportedly got an inapporpriate invitation from the 35-year-old actor.

Clode got to meet Franco after his Broadway show Of Mice and Men, outside of the stage door. She met him while he was giving autographs on Tuesday. Clode took an Instagram video of the actor and Franco told her "You gotta tag me."

Clode tagged Franco in the video of course and the actor started to contact her with some flirty messages. Clode took a screenshot of the exchange and posted it to Imgur. The two seemed to have an exchange on Instagram and then through text message. Franco reportedly asked things like "You're single?" and asked her what hotel she was staying at and if he should rent a room.

Being that it was just after April Fool's Day, Clode said "April fools was an hour ago though..." She didn't believe him and kept asking for proof. The actor sent photos of himself twice. In one photo, he was waving. In another, he wrote her name on a piece of paper and took a photo with it as further proof that it was actually him.

Franco, or the man pretending to be him, couldn't convince Clode to see him. "I'll come back when I'm 18," she said.

Once the news hit the media, Franco responded to the incident saying, "I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. Thank you." It is not clear if he was guilty or not.
