Windows 8 update is revealed mouse friendly as the Windows 8.1 update arrives April 8. Windows 8 update shows real mouse friendly features since Microsoft is making more adjustments to Windows 8's interface.

At Microsoft's Build developer conference in San Francisco Wednesday, the company finally announced a release date for its update to their flagship Windows operating system. The Windows 8 update will make Windows 8.1 mouse friendly, and it will be available via Windows Update for all Windows 8.1 users on April 8.

Even though Microsoft has made the update official just yesterday, they have leaked the Windows 8 update the most public way possible. The update is already downloadable from Microsoft's servers early last month. Like Windows 8.1 before it, this new Windows 8 update makes Microsoft Windows 8 mouse friendly and keyboard friendly as it continues to twist the core user interface concepts that Microsoft introduced in Windows 8. Its focus has made the operating system more welcoming to mouse and keyboard users.

An example is when Windows Store apps has gone to using the full-screen "Modern" mode. It can now be pinned to the desktop taskbar, and the taskbar can now be used from within Modern apps. This feature cuts down the times users may accidentally raise a Modern app, which usually results to that user not being able to figure out how to get back to the desktop.

A new PC settings tile and dedicated power and search buttons on the Start screen also make those features easily visible to people used to the Windows 7 interface, and even the older versions. When the new Windows 8.1 is installed to systems without touch screens, this will automatically boot to the desktop by default instead of to the Start screen.

One criticism though for the new Windows 8 update is that Microsoft's mouse and keyboard-centred changes make the interface less consistent and it still doesn't address user complaints when it comes to touch-friendly Start screen and Modern apps.

Windows 8 update focused on bwing mouse and keyboard friendly is still making adjustments aimed at tablets. The update runs well on those with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Microsoft will be sending out a free update to Windows 8.1 by next week.
