A 66-year-old man was arrested after groping and propositioning a 15-year-old girl on a Delta Air Lines flight on Tuesday.

An FBI affidavit says that Hans Loudermilk and the girl were on a 90-minute flight from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City, Utah. When Loudermilk boarded the flight, he stood in the aisle and asked the girl, identified at KD, to move to the middle seat in their row. The girl, who was already sitting in the row, agreed, The Smoking Gun reports.

After the flight took off, Loudermilk and the girl had a friendly conversation but it turned sexual, FBI Agent Daniel Horan said in the affidavit.
Nearly 25 minutes before the flight landed, Loudermilk reportedly told the girl that he could "teach her things sexually that boys her age could not" and that she "should drive with him and that in the State of Utah he could marry her at her current age."

Loudermilk moved closer and closer to the girl and started to touch her chin and other parts of her body. "This touching progressed to rubbing KD's leg and upper thigh," Horan said. The girl reportedly became very nervous and was hoping the man would stop.

After the flight arrived in Salt Lake City, the girl, who happened to be traveling alone, left the plane and reached out to a Transportation Security Administration officer and told him about what had happened on the plane.

Loudermilk reportedly saw the girl talking to the TSA agent and went into an airport gift shop, where he removed a tan, button-up shirt that he had been wearing and put on a black jacket, possibly as a way to go undetected by police.
However Loudermilk was arrested and was charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a minor on an aircraft, which is a felony.  At a U.S. District Court hearing in Salt Lake City, the man is being held without bail until his preliminary hearing on April 10.
