Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar, also known as the "Nightinglae of India" is dead. At least that's what Twitter is saying. However it seems that those on social media have made a mistake. Mangeshkar didn't die of a heart attack. She is just fine and she took to Twitter to say so herself.

Rumors started swirling on Tuesday that Mangeshkar dies on a heart attack. There seems to be a mistake that took place on Twitter. Mangeshkar has tweeted about the death on Nanda, a Yesteryear Bollywood actress who died at the age of 75. Mangeshkar had tweeted that she worked with her and that she was saddened by her friend's death. Nanda did die on a heart attack but Mangeshkar did not.

However some fans were mistake and started to spread the rumor around Twitter. Some examples of tweets include:

"SAD news friends. GAAN KOKILA Lata Mangeshkar died of an Heart ATTACK."

"Bad news fr world.we lost great ever singer lata mangeshkar ji coz of heart attack..may God blessed her soul..we wil miss u forevr n ever.."

Lata Mangeshkar isn't dead and she took to Twitter herself to put an end to the rumors. "Namaskar. Meri tabiyat ke baare mein afwaayein phail rahi hai. Par aap sab ka pyar aur duaaien hain ke meri tabiyat bilkul thik hai (There are rumours regarding my health. But thanks to your wishes, I am fine," she wrote.

Others who know her also confirmed that she's just fine. Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar wrote "Just spoke to @mangeshkarlata. Lata Didi is hale and hearty. So please stop spreading baseless rumors."

TV star Smriti Irani wrote "As a family friend all I can say is that @mangeshkarlata didi is hale, hearty, in great spirits n laughing off romours."

Lata Mangeshkar may be 84, but she is still alive and well, so put the rumors to rest.
