Customers at a Disney restaurant got a shock when a fish tank suddenly burst open while they were dining on Monday. The fish tank was located in the T-Rex Café in Downtown Disney.

Customer Katie Wallace posted a photo of the tank bursting on her Twitter page a few seconds after it occurred. "Having dinner at TRex Cafe in Downtown Disney when - all of a sudden - a fish tank burst open! #trexcafe #wdw" she wrote. She said that the water started rushing out of a seam in the tank but restaurant workers responded quickly and rushed in to get the guests out of the way and to save the fish, Click Orlando reports.

"Was just at T-Rex in Downtown Disney just now and the glass to a giant fish tank just cracked and water started pouring out," customer Michael Pappas, posted on Facebook. "Then about four waiters climbed in and started scooping up the fish. It was chaos. Everyone in our section had to leave."

According to a Disney spokeswoman who spoke to Click Orlando, the leak was small. The estaurant remained open as the fish were removed and some of the tables were relocated.

No one was injured in the incident and all of the fish were believed to be rescued. Workers were repairing the tank on Tuesday while diners enjoyed lunch.

"A seal failed on the tank causing water to leak. Employees took action and did a great job rescuing all of the marine life, caring for our guests and managing the situation," said Keith Beitler, Senior Vice President Chief Operating Officer of the Specialty Restaurants Division. "The marine life has been moved to holding tanks and the restaurant is open for business as usual."

The T-Rex Café is owned by Landry Hospitality, which also owns Bubba Gump Shrimp Company and Rainforest Café. The restaurant is dinosaur themed.
