Planning to attend Super Bowl 2014? Don't try tailgaiting! The Super Bowl Committee announced that tailgaiting will not be allowed before the big game in New Jersey, at least as far as traditional tailgaiting goes.

"You will be allowed to have food in your car and have drink in your car," committee Chairman Al Kelly said at a news conference according to the Daily Mail. "And provided you're in the boundaries of a single parking space, you'll be able to eat or drink right next to your car. However, you're not going to be able to take out a lounge chair, you're not going to be able to take out a grill, and you're not going to be able to take up more than one parking space. And it'll all be watched very carefully."

Killing off tailgaiting isn't the only restriction that is being placed on the game. The way in which fans get to the Big Game on February 2 will also be regulated.
About 80,000 people are expected to head to the Super Bowl but there are only 13,000 available parking spaces.

As a way to solve this problem, the committee will charter buses to shuttle fans from nine different locations around the stadium for $51 per person. This is on top of paying thousands of dollars for tickets.

Fans won't even be able to take a cab or be dropped off as no vehicles will be allowed near the stadium unless they have a parking pass.

"Nobody's going to be dropped off by black car," Kelly said according to the Mail. "You can have a black car, a green car, a white car, a red car as long as you have parking, and the car needs to stay on the premises the entire time."
Some may think they can park away from the stadium, but the committee has even put a ban on walking to the stadium.

"You cannot walk to the Super Bowl," Kelly said. "You can get your hotel to drop you off at one of the New Jersey Transit locations or get the shuttle to take you to a Fan Express location, but you cannot walk."

Kelly is expecting 75 percent of fans to use public transportation. He added that parking is reduced because there is an added security perimeter around the stadium.
