Princess Cruises' next ship, the Regal Princess, will be ready two weeks ahead of schedule. The line announced that the ship which can hold 3,500 passengers will debut on May 20 instead of June 2. The ship is the sister to the grand Royal Princess.

 The ship will take off on a seven-night trip fron Venice to Athens which stops in Turkey, Istanbul, Greece, Mykonos and Corfu.

"Also added to the ship's schedule was a six-night voyage from Athens to Venice that starts on May 27 and features calls in Kusadasi, Turkey (for the ruins of Ephesus); Santorini and Katakolon, Greece; and Dubrovnik, Croatia," reported USA Today.

The ship is currently under construction at a Fincantieri shipyard near Venice, Italy and the ship will be very similar to the Royal Proncess.

Princess Cruises also recently announced that they are sending its ship, Sapphire Princess to China. The ship will be there for four months starting in May. In the new plan, the ship will cruise from Shanghai on three to seven day round trip itineraries, reported USA Today Travel.

The cruise line recently opened five sales offices in China and has been expanding in Asia.

"We're excited to bring a new premium cruise travel experience to China's shores," said Alan Buckelew, Princess Cruises president and CEO, in a statement. "Though we have carried thousands of Chinese travelers on our ships over many years, we think the time is right for a premium cruise experience that offers a new type of vacation experience for the Chinese consumer, sailing from China."

The ships will include things like a 24 hour buffet, Tai Chi and Zumba classes. There's also wonderful shopping on board.

A few months back  Princess Cruises also announced, Cruising for a Cause: Princess Has a Heart. The charity cruise will be a 5 day trip to the Western Carribean departing on February 10, 2014. The trip which leaves from Ft Lauderdale will raise money for the American Heart Association.
