Pippa Middleton has turned 30 today. The sister to Princess Kate Middleton has had rumors swirling around her earlier this week that she is engaged to her boyfriend of six months Nico Jackson, a stock broker. Reports said that the couple planed to announce their engagement on Pippa's 30th but she stepped out today without a ring on.

Sunday People reported that she has been secretly engaged to her boyfriend for a few months with a wedding planned during the Spring.

"But it won't be announced, the paper reports, until after Friday, Pippa's 30th birthday, in part to keep from stealing the attention from Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and her new baby, Prince George, born July 22," reported USA Today.

The couple met last year at a London nightclub and Jackson, 35, is from a middle class family in Kent that runs a ski and sportswear shop.

"Pippa, formerly an employee of her parents' online party-supplies empire, is now a writer for a British supermarket magazine, a party-planning book author, and a columnist for Vanity Fair who is frequently stalked by the paparazzi," reported USA Today.

Pippa and her boyfriend have been spotted together on various occasions such as enjoying tennis at Wimbledon.

Pippa recently told The Spectator that she had an innocent crush on her coach back in high school.

"When I close my eyes and think about school sports, I envisage myself on the hockey pitch, stick in hand, a luminous gumshield locked on to my chops and a bandana across my forehead. (Bandanas were all the rage back then). I can also hear the booming voice of Mr Markham, our fierce but undeniably fanciable coach, urging us all on."

"My knees and knuckles are badly grazed from the astroturf, my shins are battered and bruised from the bully-offs. But my focus is on winning and making sure that my hair - fashioned into a slick Sporty Spice 'up do' - is just right. Did I mention the boys watching?," she recalls.
