Luxury cruise liner Seven Seas Voyager, is getting an overhaul. USA Today Travel reported that the 700-passenger ship will get a multi-million dollar facelift which includes a total overhaul of its two lounges the Horizon and Observation lounge as well as a refurbishment on its Constellation Theater.

"The overhaul also will bring a revamping of all Penthouse Suites with an all-new décor that includes custom-crafted furnishings, plush carpeting, curtains, wall coverings, lighting, original artwork and outdoor furniture," reported USA Today.

They also plan to add new carpeting, add new artwork and new furniture in the atrium.  The work will take placei n Marseille, France starting on Oct. 14 an d will also include a revamp on all the open-air areas of the space, including new teak on balconies.

The work will take place over two weeks. The Seven Seas Voyager was unveiled in 2003 and it is one of three Regent Seven Seas Cruises ships.

In other cruise news, Holland America is planning a new 78-day trip from the USA to Asia in 2014.

The trip will be on the 1,380 passenger Amsterdam and called  The "Grand Pacific & Far East Voyage," reported USA Today. It will start on Sept. 21, 2014 and have stops in, South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Jakarta, Bali and Indonesia.

"The trip includes eight overnight calls along the way at Tokyo; Incheon (Seoul), South Korea; Xingang (Beijing), Shanghai and Hong Kong, China; Singapore; Sydney, and Honolulu," reported USA Today.

Fares start at $11,499 per person.

Holland America also announced  a new around-the-world cruise for 2014 planned that will stop in 28 ports on five continents. The voyage is 113 days and can take up to 1,380 passengers Amsterdam ship.

USA Today reported that the trip will start on January 4, 2014 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and end in the same port on April 27, 2014.
