Injured pop star Lady Gaga recently found support in Yankee Alex Rodriguez, who is recovering from the same hip surgery that she underwent on Wednesday.

Gaga went into surgery to repair the bum hip that's forced her to cancel the rest of her world tour - which reportedly will result in up to $30 million in refunds, The New York Post reported.

Both Gaga and A-Rod see Dr. Bryan Kelly, a top surgeon at New York's Hospital for Special Surgery - and were seen arriving at his Manhattan office at the same time this week.

"Alex was at Dr. Kelly's office for a follow-up, while Gaga was preparing for surgery," a source close to Gaga told The Post. "It's natural for anyone to be nervous ahead of this type of surgery, especially as a performer or athlete under tremendous pressure to make a quick recovery and be back at peak performance . . . Gaga was anxious, but Alex talked to her for a while and was able to reassure her."

Later, Gaga tweeted that she was about to go into surgery to repair a labral tear of her right hip - the same injury as A-Rod, except on his left hip.

Gaga's management said the singer needs "strict downtime," and it's uncertain when she'll start performing again. She recently told her fans in a post that her injury is a "bump in the road," adding, "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now." The pain was severe, she said, to the point that she "could not walk."

So Gaga had to cancel dozens of concerts on her "Born This Way" tour, which brought in $161.4 million last year. She had 22 more dates planned to perform through March 20, The Post reported.

A-Rod is expected to be out of athletic commission until midseason, following his Jan. 16, The Post reported. "I am conducting two rehab sessions each and every day in an effort to get back on the field and rejoin my Yankees teammates," Rodriguez told The Post Thursday through a spokesman. "I think we have a great team, and I want to be a part of it."

Reps for both Gaga and Rodriguez did not get back to The Post in time for publication.
